Welcome to St Paul's Nursery

St Paul’s Nursery is situated in a self-contained building close to the main school. It has a wide range of facilities both inside and out including a large nursery garden. The outside area benefits from adventure playground apparatus, a trim trail, mud kitchen, storytelling chair and reading, sand and water and building sheds.  

The aims of the nursery are to ensure:

• Your child is safe and happy!
• Your child makes a gentle transition from home to nursery.
• We work in partnership with you to create the best learning environment for your child. 
• We encourage home learning by sending home activities relating to nursery topics which could be completed at home - children have home learning journeys with their targets in for them to work on each half term.
• We provide a broad and balanced curriculum through the ‘Early Years Foundations Stage Curriculum’ - the learning environment includes provision both indoors and out.
• Children are encouraged to learn through play and first hand experience - learning is fun!
• Learning is tailored to the individual through close observation and monitoring by all the staff - topics and activities are planned around the interest and needs of each child.
